Day trips
From gentle paddles in sheltered waters to longer crossings to the wealth of islands there is something for everyone.
The area around Seil is probably the best in the UK with something for every ability but we are happy to work throughout Scotland and further afield regularly visiting Mull, Skye the west coast and Shetland.
Expeditions
Travelling on the ocean on multi day trips with one or more overnight camps in wild and remote locations gives an experience never to be forgotten. We carry all the kit in the kayaks and I can supply everything that's required.
Leadership and guiding. (aka how to paddle like a pro and never feel out of control!!)
Courses on leading which can be used as a top up or as preparations for SCA/BCU leadership and guiding awards or for those that paddle informally in groups including simple planning and practical on the water solutions for group control and risk management.
Level 5 sea Kayak coach Kenny spends over 200 days a year sea kayaking with individuals and groups of all abilities predominantly in the tide races around Seil with excellent conditions for the more advanced where tidal currents meet ocean swell in locations such as Cuan sound, the Grey Dogs, the Sound of Luing and of course the Corrvreckan. And for those that don't want or need to tangle with strong currents there is a myriad of islands where the tactics and skills of leadership can be developed and honed.
Kenny's risk management and technical advise consultancy aspect of the business, together with his degree combining sports science, psychology and social factors alongside his management career in outdoor centres has provided him a great depth of knowledge in these areas.
