Sea Kayak Scotland is owned and  operated by Ken Lacey who holds the top BCU/SCA Level 5 sea kayak coach award.

He will tailor every session to your requirements.

Based on the Isle of Seil which has a bridge to the mainland, 30 minutes from Oban. The orginal dedicated sea kayak company in the Oban area, established for over 15 years. We have an intimate knowledge of the area. A family company for the personal touch, we do it because we love it.

The area around Seil is probably the best in the UK with something for every ability but we are happy to work throughout Scotland and further afield regularly visiting Mull, Skye the west coast and Shetland.

Top quality equipment including lightweight paddles, dry bags for personal belongings and one piece paddle suits or cags and trousers or you are welcome to use your own equipment.

For competent, experienced sea kayakers who prefer to be self led we have Kayak and Camping equipment for hire.

We are licensed with the HSE's  Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.

The Firth of Lorne where we are based is a European Special Area of Conservation. The area is also an area of National Scenic Beauty. Ken is an accredited master wildlife safe operator
